Just a Word of Encouragement: For You and I

Tonight, I found myself doing the one thing I encourage people not to do, doubt God and question His timing. Its hard, right? You're doing right. You're staying focused on the things of the Lord. You're reading your word. You're praying. You're seeking Him, and things still haven't unfolded. You have the vision. You have the desire. The cards just aren't being dealt in your favor, well it seems that way, right? You're going to church. You're taking in the message. You're applying the word to your life. Yet, still nothing. The big moment has happened. The moment you've been yearning for: the job opportunity, the relationship, the life you desire. Instantly, I was reminded of my go to scripture. I have it plastered on my wall on a pink sticky note next to my light switch. It reads:

"For the Lord Your God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will he withhold from them that walk up rightly."

Psalm 84:11 

We often lose sight of the big picture, when the little pieces aren't adding up. It happens, but tonight I want to encourage you and myself to not take your eyes of God. We already have so many reasons to trust Him, and if we continue to be steadfast and "walk up rightly" He is going to be true to His word. NO GOOD THING WILL HE WITHHOLD FROM YOU. Just keep living for Him. Grace and Glory will be yours. Grace and Glory will be apart of your story. Favor. It's all working together for your good and His glory. Your testimony is going to be the encouragement someone else needed -- don't let a little test stop your testimony.

Jeremiah 29:11 I say this because I know the plans that I have for you. This message is from the Lord. "I have good plans for you. I don't plan to hurt you. I plan to give you a hope and good future."
